WHO WE ARE

Chantelle George Consulting (CGC) is a premier Black-owned, woman-owned consulting firm dedicated to community engagement and social impact. We focus on identifying systemic barriers, providing actionable solutions, and empowering our clients to promote equitable opportunities for all students, regardless of their background. With a deep understanding of underserved communities and our students' lived experiences, our team of diverse consultants helps bridge gaps in communities by developing inclusive environments, fostering collaboration, and empowering leaders.

MEET THE FOUNDER

CHANTELLE GEORGE, Ph.D.

A Louisiana Native, Dr. Chantelle George is the founder and principal consultant of CG Consulting, a Black, female-owned and operated consulting firm that supports entities focused on postsecondary equity.

Under Chantelle’s leadership, CG Consulting has partnered with over20 organizations with an impact reach of ten states and over 100,000 students. Chantelle brings more than 12 years of college access and success experience in the areas of higher education, K-12 college and career readiness, and nonprofit leadership.

Her professional portfolio and client base consist of The National College Attainment Network, Excel Sports Management, New Orleans Pelicans, Education Strategy Group, LSU, University of Houston, Northwestern State University, LSU, OneGoal, College Possible, New Profit, Charter School Growth Fund, TRIO, Bottom Line, and ACT to name a few.

Dr. George currently holds a B.S. degree from Louisiana State University and a Master's degree in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Houston.

Dr. George completed her PhD at Louisiana State University in Higher Education where she taught Higher Education Strategic Planning and served as a guest lecturer for College Access and Choice.

In the community, Dr. George serves as the Board President of College Beyond, a non-profit that addresses the equity gap between students of color and affluent students in Louisiana. She is also a member of both the Greater Houston and Louisiana Opportunity Youth Coalitions.

Dr. George is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and the LSU Young Alumni Advisory Council. In addition, Dr. George serves on the selections committee for both the National Coca-Cola and Dell Scholars Programs, respectively. Lastly, Dr. George is a recent graduate of the Goldman Sachs Business Fellowship.

Outside of work, Dr. George enjoys traveling, cooking, football, hot yoga, and spending time with her family, especially her two nieces and nephew. Dr. George currently resides in New Orleans, LA.
